WeRide signs a tripartite agreement with Uber and Dubai Roads and Transport Authority

According to WeRide, on June 15, local time, WeRide signed a cooperation agreement with Dubai Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) and Uber. The three parties will work together to deploy commercial Robotaxi travel services in Dubai. The service will be launched on the Uber platform this year. The first batch of Robotaxi will be operated commercially with safety officers and tested purely unmanned, and will be fully unmanned in commercial operation in the first quarter of 2026. At present, WeRide and Uber have started the Robotaxi road test in Dubai under the guidance of RTA.
