Reporters learned from a press conference held by the Hubei Provincial Government Information Office that as of the end of June, the balance of science and technology loans in Wuhan exceeded 800 billion yuan, a 12.4% increase from the beginning of the year. Seizing the opportunity presented by Wuhan's inclusion in the pilot program for equity investment by financial asset investment companies and for technology enterprise merger and acquisition loans, the city is actively directing funds to invest in early-stage, small, and high-tech enterprises. Currently, Wuhan has established four AIC equity investment funds with a total investment of 3.6 billion yuan, and has disbursed 482 million yuan in merger and acquisition loans to technology enterprises under the pilot program.
