Fan Jialin, formerly head of Xiaomi's People, Cars, and Home, and smart products, has been appointed Deputy General Manager of Xiaomi's Automotive Sales and Operations Department, reporting to Xia Zhiguo, General Manager of Sales and Operations. Sources familiar with the matter told Jiemian News that Fan's new position is expected to further integrate Xiaomi's "People, Cars, and Home" ecosystem. Public records indicate that Fan was an early Xiaomi employee, responsible for the product design and development of Xiaomi routers and related smart hardware. He became one of the first 17 core members of the Xiaomi Automotive team when it was established in 2021. Since joining the Automotive Department, Fan has been leading Xiaomi's "People, Cars, and Home" full ecosystem strategy and its interoperability with mobile phones and IoT devices. Xiaomi has not yet responded to this news as of press time.
