Xpeng Motors fulfilled its 60-day payment period commitment, and many suppliers received emails to sign supplementary agreements
Two days after the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology opened the window for payment commitment, some automakers have issued written notices to suppliers. On July 11, the reporter exclusively obtained a notification email from Xiaopeng Motors from the supply chain of Xiaopeng Motors. The email shows that Xiaopeng Motors announced that the original payment cycle will be uniformly adjusted to within 60 days. The email mentioned, "Based on long-term considerations for long-term cooperation, the signing of relevant supplementary agreements has begun - the payment period is shortened to within 60 days." An insider of Xiaopeng Motors responded that the news was true and said that this adjustment was a reflection of the company's commitment. It is reported that this is the first batch of written notices officially sent to suppliers in the automotive industry regarding the "60-day payment period commitment."
