
Asian Tech Press (Dec 07) -- Prime Minister Kim Bu-gyeom chaired the fourth meeting of the Hydrogen Economy Committee and released South Korea's first "Basic Plan for Hydrogen Economy Development." By 2050, South Korea will establish more than 2,000 hydrogen refueling stations across the country. Hydrogen energy in Korea will account for 33% of final energy consumption and 23.8% of power generation, making it the largest energy source over oil.
Hydrogen energy has a wide range of applications, mainly in the transportation sector as well as in energy storage and industry.
