Construction began yesterday in Tianjin on China's first full-industry chain R&D and testing innovation base for intelligent connected vehicles. This base will not only focus on intelligent connected vehicles, but will also serve cutting-edge equipment industries such as low-altitude and embodied intelligence. With a planned investment of nearly 2 billion yuan, the new base will house 36 advanced laboratories in areas such as intelligent driving, intelligent cockpits, information security, vehicle networking, artificial intelligence, and low-altitude economics, encompassing over a thousand R&D and testing projects in the field of intelligent connected vehicles. Some of these laboratories are already operational.
