According to the news released by the Anhui Quantum Information Engineering Technology Research Center, my country's first superconducting quantum computing measurement and control system ez-Q Engine 2.0 designed for kilobit scale has been officially delivered to the University of Science and Technology of China and other units. The system is the core equipment serving the "Zu Chongzhi No. 3" quantum computer, and will provide measurement and control services of more than 5,000 bits to multiple institutions. It is understood that the measurement and control system is one of the key core equipment of quantum computers, which can be compared to the motherboard of classical computers. It is mainly responsible for operating the quantum bits on the quantum chip, performing quantum logic gate operations and quantum algorithm calculations. Tang Shibiao, director of the Anhui Quantum Information Engineering Technology Research Center, introduced that compared with the previous generation of products, the integration of the new generation of equipment has increased by about 10 times, and the core components are designed with domestic production, making it the smallest and best-performing product among similar products in China, and achieving lower noise, stronger consistency, and improved measurement and control accuracy.
