BMW has reached a cooperation with Momenta to jointly develop assisted driving software based on AI large models, which will be applied to a number of domestic models including the new generation. This assisted driving solution is specially developed for the Chinese market and will support full-scene, point-to-point pilot assisted driving functions. In the future, it will be possible to park out of a parking space, pass through the urban area, highway, urban area, and then park in the destination parking space. Previously, the intelligent driving assistance system functions of BMW's models on sale were relatively limited, and did not support advanced functions such as high-speed on- and off-ramps, and traffic lights. Momenta is a Chinese autonomous driving company founded in 2016, which has invested in the mass production of assisted driving and autonomous driving robotaxi. At present, Momenta has reached cooperation with more than a dozen car companies around the world and has mass-produced more than 100 models.
