Meta and Oakley, a world-renowned sports brand under France's EssilorLuxottica, officially announced the joint launch of a new series of AR glasses (without display) Oakley Meta HSTN on June 20, 2025. Subsequently, Meta may launch AR glasses with monocular display in the second half of 2025. In addition, manufacturers have also launched new products. At present, the optical degree solution for smart glasses is mainly based on users' self-matching of glasses, supplemented by smart glasses manufacturers' bundling, and all use ordinary optical lenses. As some North American smart glasses manufacturers are actively exploring integrated lens solutions for AR glasses (smart display functions and optical degrees are combined into one), CITIC Securities believes that it is possible to pay close attention to lens suppliers with strong manufacturing and R&D capabilities.
