China-Germany cooperation meeting on automated and connected driving held in Beijing
On October 18, 2025, the China-Germany Automated Connected Driving Cooperation Conference was held in Beijing. At the conference, the two sides held in-depth discussions on the China-Germany Automated Connected Driving Working Group's promotion mechanism, work progress, and topics of mutual concern, such as regulations for combined driver assistance systems and the development of autonomous driving technology. Moving forward, the two sides will continue to strengthen the working group's promotion mechanism, conduct in-depth discussions on topics such as combined driver assistance, autonomous driving, data logging, and cybersecurity, and actively expand communication and exchanges in areas such as V2X communications and vehicle-road-cloud integration, jointly addressing common global challenges and promoting the healthy and sustainable development of the intelligent connected vehicle industry.
