ChinaJoy opens today: multiple new products debut in Shanghai, leading global gaming trends
According to The Paper, ChinaJoy 2025, held in Shanghai from August 1st to 4th, attracted 743 exhibitors, 31.9% of whom were foreign-invested. Gaming giants such as Tencent, NetEase, and Century Huatong showcased new products, showcasing cutting-edge content innovation and technological development. Shanghai, with its strong development momentum and open ecosystem, has become a global benchmark for game development. Policy support and high-profile events such as the Global Esports Conference and the China International Game Developers Conference are further driving the global development of the gaming industry. In the first half of the year, domestic gaming market revenue reached 168 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 14.08%.
