Chinese stocks listed in the U.S. saw mixed gains and losses before the market opened. JD.com, Xpeng Motors, and NIO rose 1%, Alibaba rose 0.8%, Pinduoduo rose 0.7%, Li Auto fell 0.3%, and Tencent Music and Beike fell 2%.
