On the afternoon of the 12th local time, an Indian Airlines Boeing 787-8 passenger plane flying from India to the UK crashed shortly after taking off from Ahmedabad Airport. The scene showed that the passenger plane descended rapidly shortly after takeoff, hit a building, exploded and caught fire, and the wreckage of the plane was scattered everywhere. The plane involved carried 242 people, and only one survived. The accident also caused casualties on the ground.
