On April 23, during the 2025 Shanghai International Auto Show, GAC Aion and Didi Autonomous Driving joined forces to launch the world's first pre-installed mass-produced L4 highly autonomous driving car with global adaptability. GAC promised that it will be responsible for the safety of autonomous driving of future L4 models. It is reported that the car will be mass-produced and delivered at the end of the year, and will be put into large-scale operation next year. In 2027, an L4 model for individual users will be launched.
