Hong Kong's Hang Seng Tech Index saw gains expand to 1%, with the index now up 0.79%. Tech stocks led the gains, with Baidu Group up over 9%, Alibaba up over 4%, NetEase up over 3%, and JD.com and Tencent Holdings up over 1%.
