Report: Tencent, Alibaba, and ByteDance rush to buy computing resources

According to multiple independent sources, Tencent purchased GPU (graphics processing unit) computing resources worth about 2 billion yuan from ByteDance in the first quarter of this year. These resources are mainly NVIDIA H20 cards and servers. Tencent Yuanbao's current updates mainly use cards from ByteDance. In addition to Tencent, an insider said that Alibaba also placed a GPU order with ByteDance after DeepSeek became popular in the first quarter of this year.
