Shanghai Jiao Tong University Medical Artificial Intelligence Research Institute was established, with Fan Xianqun as dean
On June 27, the Shanghai Jiao Tong University Medical Artificial Intelligence Research Institute was inaugurated. The institute is jointly established by the Shanghai Jiao Tong University Artificial Intelligence College, the Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine and WeDoctor Group. It will actively explore innovative development models and create an innovative source of medical artificial intelligence and a talent base. The institute appointed Fan Xianqun, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, vice president of Shanghai Jiao Tong University, and dean of the Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine, as the dean of the Shanghai Jiao Tong University Medical Artificial Intelligence Research Institute, appointed Zhang Ya, vice dean of the Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Artificial Intelligence, as the executive vice dean of the Shanghai Jiao Tong University Medical Artificial Intelligence Research Institute, and appointed Zhang Jian, vice dean of the Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Clinical Pharmacy, as the vice dean of the Shanghai Jiao Tong University Medical Artificial Intelligence Research Institute.
