Shanghai-listed companies are enthusiastic about mid-term dividends, and focusing on returns has become a "compulsory course"
According to incomplete statistics, 1,501 listed companies on the Shanghai Stock Exchange have distributed 1.38 trillion yuan in cash dividends so far this year. Recent data shows that the enthusiasm for mid-term dividends among Shanghai-listed companies remains unabated, with a wave of cash bonuses already locked in: So far, 12 Shanghai-listed companies have launched mid-term dividend plans (including proposals, plans, and first-quarter dividends) this year, totaling over 4.3 billion yuan in dividends. Following the launch of semi-annual report disclosure, companies such as Dongpeng Beverage and WuXi AppTec have projected dividends exceeding 1 billion yuan. With the momentum building for mid-term dividends among Shanghai-listed companies, the outlook for 2025's interim dividends is promising.
