Southbound funds have seen net inflows for 18 consecutive weeks, with holdings of 11 stocks doubling this week.
According to Securities Times Databao statistics, southbound funds saw a net inflow of HK$36.851 billion this week (September 15-19), a 39.41% decrease from the previous month, marking the 18th consecutive week of net inflows. Looking at the top ten most active stocks daily, 22 stocks made the list this week. Alibaba-W had the highest total trading volume through the Hong Kong-Shanghai Stock Connect, reaching HK$69.847 billion. SMIC, Meituan-W, Tencent Holdings, and Xiaomi Group-W all saw their trading volume exceed HK$20 billion. Regarding shareholding changes, 11 stocks saw their holdings in southbound funds increase by over 100% month-over-month, with Baize Medical leading the way with a 2252.16% increase. Nanshan Aluminum International, Shanghai Auntie, Naodong Aurora-B, and Jinjing New Energy all saw their holdings increase by over 500%.
