The 20th United Nations Internet Governance Forum was held in Lilleström near Oslo, the capital of Norway, from the 23rd to the 27th. This year's forum is themed "Building Digital Governance Together" and will hold a number of discussions on topics such as artificial intelligence, emerging technologies, digital trust and security, data protection, and digital infrastructure construction. The opening ceremony of the forum was held on the 24th. In his video speech, UN Secretary-General Guterres said that the forum has made great efforts to promote global Internet public policy cooperation in the nearly 20 years since its establishment. He called for more actions to address the growing global digital risks, including bridging the digital divide by expanding affordable Internet access; narrowing the digital skills gap; combating online hate speech; and promoting the diversification of digital space.
