On September 15th, Toyota Motor announced the release of the e-Palette, a pure electric vehicle designed for mobile stores and other applications. The company aims to have it equipped with Level 4 autonomous driving technology, capable of unmanned driving under certain conditions, around 2027. For the time being, a driver will be present, with the system handling some operations. Toyota envisions the vehicle being widely used for merchandise sales and personnel transportation at events, and anticipates purchases from businesses and local governments.
