A Turkish Airlines Boeing 777 en route from Istanbul to Antalya made an emergency landing at Antalya Airport due to a hydraulic system failure. Upon landing, smoke was seen in the landing gear, prompting the crew to deploy the slides to evacuate passengers. All passengers were safe, with no casualties. Turkish Airlines Communications Director Uston stated that after a normal landing, smoke appeared in the landing gear of flight TK2430 while taxiing, prompting the rapid intervention of firefighters. To mitigate risks, the crew initiated emergency evacuation procedures as recommended, and passengers were evacuated in an orderly manner via the slides. Preliminary inspections revealed the smoke was caused by a technical failure in the hydraulic piping. The aircraft has been fully inspected by a technical team, and the return flight will be operated by an alternative flight.
