U.S. issues preliminary anti-subsidy ruling on temporary steel fences imported from China
On June 17, the U.S. Department of Commerce issued an announcement to make a preliminary anti-subsidy ruling on temporary steel fencing imported from China. It preliminarily ruled that Hebei Minmetals Co., Ltd.'s subsidy rate was 33.27%, Shijiazhuang SD Company Ltd.'s subsidy rate was 139.20%, Anping County Xingpeng Hardware Co., Ltd., Shenzhou Yuelei Metal Products Co., Ltd., Sichuan Gold-Link Industry, Sourcing Solution Co., Ltd., and Tianjin Mengsheng Metal Products Co., Ltd.'s subsidy rate was 301.83% because they did not participate in the response, and the subsidy rate of other Chinese producers/exporters was 86.24%. The U.S. Department of Commerce is expected to make a final anti-subsidy ruling on October 27, 2025. This case mainly involves products under the U.S. customs code 7308.90.9590.
