On July 2, the founding ceremony of Wuhan University School of Robotics was held at the university. The school will hire 10 industry professors from leading robotics and intelligent manufacturing companies such as Xiaomi, Yushu, Leju, and UBTECH to cultivate innovative and outstanding talents. The newly established School of Robotics will enroll 90 undergraduate students in 2025. It will rely on the multi-disciplinary advantages of Wuhan University and integrate the strengths of control, machinery, surveying and mapping remote sensing, telecommunications, artificial intelligence and other disciplines to provide support for the exploration and cultivation of emerging interdisciplinary disciplines in the field of robotics.
