Its research directions include embodied intelligence native multimodal large models, world models, spatial intelligence, etc. The head of the department is Ge Yixiao, a former Tencent ARC Lab technical expert who recently joined Xiaopeng. He was promoted to Tencent T12 technical expert at the age of 28. As the main person in charge of multiple projects in the multimodal direction, Ge Yixiao won the Tencent Technology Breakthrough Award for two consecutive years in 2023 and 2024. A source said that there are currently only three members in the Intelligent Mimicry Department of Xiaopeng Robotics, including Ge Yixiao.
