On May 21, Zheng Zhajie, Director of the National Development and Reform Commission, met with Luhut, Chairman of the Indonesian National Economic Council, who was visiting China. The two sides held friendly exchanges on strengthening practical cooperation in multiple fields between China and Indonesia around the implementation of the consensus reached by the two heads of state, and reached a consensus on the next direction of cooperation. Director Zheng Zhajie said that under the strategic guidance of the two heads of state, China-Indonesia relations have entered a new stage of building a community with a shared future and creating a new pattern of cooperation with the "five pillars". China-Indonesia economic cooperation is highly complementary and has great potential. The National Development and Reform Commission is willing to work with relevant departments of the Indonesian government to strengthen economic development policy cooperation, jointly promote major projects such as the Jakarta-Bandung high-speed railway, and work together to cultivate new economic growth points such as artificial intelligence.
