On July 30, 2025, Zhou Haibing, Vice Chairman of the National Development and Reform Commission, met in Beijing with a delegation led by Respo, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the U.S.-China Business Council. The two sides exchanged in-depth views on issues of mutual interest, including Sino-U.S. economic and trade relations and foreign investment policies. Representatives from companies including Thermo Fisher Scientific, Otis Global, Boeing, Goldman Sachs, Apple, and United Family Healthcare also attended the meeting and discussed their operations in China.
